The 2026 Tree Program 

The tree lottery is continuing in 2026! We are excited to announce that the Town of Frederick has partnered with The Tree Farm Nursery & Garden Center to offer $150 value of trees and applicable supplies for Frederick residents. This partnership aims to promote tree planting and green spaces within our community.  This year, 280 “vouchers” will be available on a lottery basis, with residents signing up and the Town randomly selecting awardees from the program.  Planting a tree is a great way to support the environment and beautify your property!

  • Fill out the Tree Program Form
  • Must include the purchase of a tree.
  • Available to Frederick residents only.
  • Trees will be awarded through a randomized lottery system.
  • One application per resident.
  • Proof of residency will be verified.
  • Residents must be 18 years or older to claim.
  • HOAs and commercial or industrial properties are not eligible for the program.
  • Sign-up will run through April 15th.
  • Residents selected will be notified through email by April 24, 2026.

Redemption

  • The Tree Farm will be notified of residents selected and can pick up trees and applicable supplies at 11868 Mineral Road Longmont, CO 80504.
  • Only redeemable at The Tree Farm and must be used by June 30, 2026.
  • Good for $150 towards trees and tree planting accessories only (soil amendments, mulch, stakes, and items promoting tree growth).
  • A tree must be purchased with any planting accessories (not redeemable for supplies alone).
  • Does not cover applicable sales tax at purchase.
  • Good toward any for sale tree at the Tree Farm.
  • Non-transferable and must be redeemed by the original claimant. Reproduction or duplication is strictly prohibited and may result in criminal charges.
