Parks and Golf Maintenance Facility Renovation

About the Project

Town staff are working on designing a replacement maintenance facility at Bella Rosa Golf Course, near Bella Rosa Parkway and Wetlands Drive at Frederick Recreation Area. The existing facilities were constructed in the 1970’s as a residence and small farm outbuilding. They have been utilized since the golf course was constructed in 2004.

In 2025, staff conducted a preliminary conceptual design and in 2026, will continue to refine that design to 30-60% construction design. The intent behind a more drawn out design process is to allow staff to ensure compatibility with golf operations and the surrounding neighborhoods, engage with the community and to best understand funding capacity for physical construction.
