Utility Billing
Important Information About Your Bill
The Town of Frederick has upgraded financial software. As of March 2022, the Town of Frederick has upgraded financial software and is no longer using Xpress Bill Pay. Please go to the Payment Options page for instructions on how to set up a new online account, use online Quick Pay, Pay by phone, drive-thru, in-person, or use the dropbox.

🔹 Frederick residents West of I25 - This is your Trash and Stormwater bill.
🔹 Evanston residents - This is your Water and Stormwater bill.
Water Rate Increase
In January 2020, the Town of Frederick Board of Trustees passed Resolution 20-R-11, amending water service charges that approved a 5% water rate increase starting 2021 through 2025. Frederick residents will see the increase on their January 2023 bill. Water rates rise based on increased consumption and need in Colorado. Changes in the rates are passed through from the Central Weld County Water District. The increase applies to usage only and will not apply to the base rate.
Certain services are provided by and billed by the Town of Frederick. For details about charges, please refer to our fee schedule.
Stormwater
Stormwater services are provided by the Town of Frederick for all residents and commercial businesses. Fees for stormwater are included on the monthly utility billing from the Town.
Trash / Recycling
The trash and recycling is provided for residential customers. All residential customers will received a 96 gallon trash tote and a 96 gallon recycling tote. Trash service is billed on a monthly basis and is included on the utility bill from the Town. The Town of Frederick does not provide commercial trash service. Note: Please have bins out by 7 a.m. on your scheduled day. Check out other Pickup Guidelines to ensure your trash and recycling are picked up each time.
New Residents
If you are a new resident of Frederick, please contact both Waste Connections at 303.288.2100, and the Town of Frederick at 720.382.5500 to begin trash service.
Water
The Town of Frederick supplies water to residents whose home or business is located east of I-25.
Beginning January 1st of 2016, water usage rates will increase 5%. The increase is applicable only to the usage and will not apply to the base rate. Similar increases will take place each year on January 1st from 2017 - 2025.
Note: West of I-25 - Drinking water is provided by Left Hand Water District . Raw water service is provided by the Town of Frederick.
Electric Services
As of January 17, 2019 United Power will be the electric provider for the entire Town of Frederick.
