Carbon Valley Memorial Day Ceremony

Event Description

Join us at Crist Park on Friday, May 26 from 4 to 6 PM to start your Memorial Day weekend by remembering and mourning those who have died while serving in the United States armed forces. This ceremony includes the national anthem, community stories of service members, a moment of silence, a presentation of colors by Color Guard Post 32, and Taps played on the trumpet. 

After the ceremony, join us for a picnic in the park. Bring your favorite picnic meal or grab dinner from one of our downtown restaurants. 

Community Stories of Service Members

Members of the Carbon Valley are welcome and encouraged to attend and share stories of their loved service members during the ceremony.
