About the Project
The Town Engineering Department and Public Works use a Pavement Management System to assist in the evaluation of pavement condition, serviceable life and maintenance strategies for Town owned roads following a panned 5-year maintenance cycle. A Pavement Management System is a set of tools that includes pavement evaluation, software and engineering judgment to budget and plan for maintenance and rehabilitation projects to help minimize costs while improving overall pavement conditions. With this, staff has identified areas within the Town of Frederick requiring pavement maintenance as part of the continuing effort to maintain and improve a critical part of the overall community infrastructure of the Town.
