Floodplain Regulations

  • Floodplain management regulations were adopted in 2013 by the Town Board. 
  • The regulations promote the protection human life and health, the environment, and public and private property.
  • The regulations also identify how development can occur in a safe manner within a floodplain or floodway. 
  • A floodplain Development permit was established in 2013 as well which must be obtained before any work can begin within any area of special flood hazard. A link to the permit application is below.

    Christmas Day

    All inspection requests must be submitted by 4 pm the business day prior. All inspection requests received after 4 pm Friday will be added to the schedule the following Tuesday.
