Carbon Valley Senior Center Lunch for seniors 60yrs +


Have lunch with us.  Get in line for our delicious curbside “to go” meals for seniors 60+ years at the Carbon Valley senior center, 6615 Frederick Way, every Tuesday and Thursday at 11:30am.  Reservations and cancellations are required and must be made in advance by 11am one business day prior to the meal.  $4 suggested donation per meal for 60yrs+.  Call Weld County Aging Services “Friendly Fork” program, 970-346-6955.  Menus can be found here.

Join Carbon Valley seniors 60+ for a fun afternoon of Drive in Bingo in the Carbon Valley Senior Center parking lot.  Join us as we play bingo and win prizes from the comfort of your vehicle.  Tune in to our FM radio channel to hear the number being called and honk when you get a bingo.  Lots of fun and prizes! Please note: the facility is currently closed due to Covid-19 restrictions. In compliance of Covid-19 restrictions, The CVPRD Active Adults programs has suspended all in-person programs at the senior center.  Look for a number of seasonal Drive-In (parking lot) activities, SilverSneakers classes and virtual programs.  SilverSneakers and other fitness opportunities are available at the Recreation Center and The Studio. We look forward to reopening and resuming our normal activities at the Senior Center as conditions change. 

Snow Buddies Volunteer Snow Removal Program

Can you spare a little time to help out an older adult? The Snow Buddies Volunteer Snow Removal Program at the Carbon Valley Parks & Recreation District needs your help! Snow Buddies is a volunteer program that matches volunteers with older adults who need help clearing their driveway and sidewalks after a snowstorm. Chances are, there is someone in your neighborhood who could use a hand with snow removal. To sign up as a recipient or as a volunteer, please call the Carbon Valley Recreation Center at 303-833-3660 X 117 or email the Carbon Valley Park & Recreation District.

SilverSneakers® Fitness class

The Carbon Valley Recreation Center is an authorized fitness facility that offers a variety of SilverSneakers® classes at the Studio (8350 County Line Rd, Suite 170) next to Dairy Queen. Be sure to check out their website for information about SilverSneakers® and other fitness classes. Class size limited and you must pre-register at least one week prior to class. Call 303.833.3660.

Snow Buddies Program


Snow Buddies is a volunteer program that matches volunteers with older adults who need help clearing their driveway and sidewalks after a snowstorm.  To sign up as a recipient or as a volunteer, please call the Carbon Valley Recreation Center at 303-833-3660.
