Vote! Ballots for the Town of Frederick’s Regular Municipal Election were mailed in mid-March. Residents have three convenient ways to return their ballot:

  • Mail your ballot (with correct postage)
  • Drop off inside the Town Hall (401 Locust St.)
    • Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
    • Election Day, April 7, from 7 am to 7 pm
  • Use the 24-hour drop box in front of the Carbon Valley Recreation Center (701 Fifth St.) Frederick ballots only, please

The April 7 mail-ballot election will decide one ballot question and elect three Trustees. Trustee candidates include Matt Hickman, Windi Padia, Shirl Golden Garcia, Brian Grubb, Paul Meier, Ryan D. Antonio, Suzanna (Suz) Healy, and Gabriel Creek.

Ballots must be received by the Town Clerk’s Office no later than 7 pm on Election Day, April 7, 2026.

The first 2026 Community Tour & Talk kicks off on Wednesday, May 13, at Johnson Farm Park, 9201 Grand Mesa Ave, at 6 pm. This event series is designed to bring the conversation about Frederick’s future directly to residents.

Join your neighbors, members of the Board of Trustees, and Town staff for an evening of conversation, questions, and updates about what’s ahead for Frederick. A free dinner will be served starting at 6 pm and will continue while supplies last. You are welcome to attend whichever event works best for your schedule. So, see where we will be throughout the summer and be sure to RSVP online.

Lawn Replacement Program

Thinking about replacing your lawn in 2026? We've got a great offer for you! The Town of Frederick’s Lawn Replacement Rebate Program offers $2 per square foot, up to $2,000 per water account per year, when you replace water-thirsty lawns with sustainable, low-water landscaping. Program highlights:

  • Minimum of 200 square feet replaced
  • Maximum rebate amount is $2,000 per water account per year
  • Living plant material must cover at least 50% of the project area
  • Projects must meet Town landscaping requirements
  • Work closely with the Town’s water conservation specialist throughout the process
  • Rebates are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited to available funds

Projects must be completed in 2026. Applications are accepted through September 1, and all projects must be finished and inspected by October 20, 2026. Design approval is required before breaking ground.

The Frederick Police Department invites residents to attend our next Neighborhood Watch meeting on Wednesday, May 13, at 6 pm at the Moore Farms Pool Club (8811 Welsh Ln.) All Frederick residents are welcome to participate.

This meeting is a great opportunity to hear directly from our officers, ask questions, learn about neighborhood safety, and connect with neighbors who are working together to keep Frederick safe.
