Town Services Are Moving!
The Town of Frederick is making changes to improve how we serve our residents and community. Beginning December 1, 2025, all in-person needs & services will be at one central location at Town Hall (401 Locust St.).
Currently, the Town’s two main public-facing buildings, Town Hall and the Administrative Services building, offer different services. While this structure has worked in the past, it can sometimes lead to confusion about where to go for assistance. By centralizing these services, we’ll simplify the process, enhance communication, and take care of all your needs in one place!
Key points:
- Town Hall will serve as the main hub for all in-person needs including utility bill payments.
Please note, the drop-off box for utility payments will remain open at 311 Fifth St. - The Administrative Services building will be open by appointment to conduct business with the Communications, Finance, and Human Resource departments.
Benefits of this change include:
- Improved efficiency: Centralized operations allow for streamlined processes.
- Less confusion: Residents will have one clear, central location for assistance.
These changes reflect our continued commitment to efficiency, accessibility, and excellent customer service. For questions or additional information about this transition, please contact Town Hall at 720.382.5500
Festival of Lights
The Town’s annual tree lighting event, Festival of Lights, is on Saturday, December 6, 2025, in Crist Park (105 Fifth St.)! From 5:30 to 8 pm, this enchanting evening is packed with festive fun for the whole family.
Start your holiday shopping at the vendor market, enjoy the parade downtown, and join us as we count down to the tree lighting. Warm up with free hot chocolate, snap a selfie with Santa, enjoy the live ice sculpture and carolers, and get into the holiday spirit with a free carriage ride.
Festival of Lights has always been about bringing our community together to celebrate the spirit of the season. We look forward to seeing you there!
Frederick’s festivities are one of three great events that make up the Carbon Valley Holiday Festival. Dash from the Town of Firestone to the City of Dacono, and finally to our own Festival of Lights, for a day filled with holiday cheer.
Frederick's 2026 Budget Process
The Town of Frederick remains committed to transparency and community involvement in the annual budget process. The Board of Trustees will hold public hearings for the proposed 2026 fiscal year budget on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, and Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 7 pm in the Board Chambers at Town Hall (401 Locust St.).
These hearings allow residents to learn about proposed projects, programs, and priorities for the year ahead, and to share feedback that helps shape Frederick’s financial future.
The proposed budget will be available on the Town’s website starting November 19, and residents can review a printed copy at Town Hall. Final budget adoption and mill levy certification will take place at the December 3 Board meeting. Your input ensures Frederick’s fiscal decisions reflect what matters most to our community. We encourage all residents to attend and participate!
