Discovery
Frederick's discovery requests follow Colorado Municipal Rules of Procedure, Rule 216. Upon motion of the defendant, the court may order the prosecution to permit the defendant to inspect and copy or photograph any discovery items. This includes books, papers, documents, photos, or tangible objects within the prosecutor's possession and control. In order to do this, the defendant must show that items sought may be material to prepare a defense. This request must also be deemed reasonable.
A written request for discovery must be filed with the court. Discoverable material will be provided within a reasonable time frame.
You will be expected to show a valid drivers license or provide valid identification.
