Can I vote in person?
Unlike the elections that you experience at the County level, municipal elections do not have Vote Centers. However, you can vote in person by bringing your ballot to Town Hall and depositing it in the designated drop box. If you receive a replacement ballot, you may vote it immediately at Town Hall.
My ballot is lost or damaged. How can I get a new one?
The Town Clerk’s office can assist you in getting a replacement ballot. Once a replacement is issued, the original one becomes void.
What if I need assistance casting my vote because of a disability?
The Town of Frederick respects the right of all eligible voters to participate in the electoral process. An Election Worker at Town Hall can provide assistance during normal business hours, 8 am – 5 pm, ensuring that you can cast your ballot in a confidential and secure manner.
What if I won't be home to receive my ballot?
If you are temporarily away from home (but not moving), you may apply for an absentee ballot to be mailed to a temporary address.
