In the summer of 2021, the Board of Trustees adopted a long-term Strategic Plan for the Town of Frederick. The Town’s Strategic Plan has six focus areas with goals prioritized to meet the needs of our growing community. Having a plan gives staff clear direction and the Board of Trustees a roadmap when making policy decisions. In addition, goals reflect the voices of the community and guide our program-based budget.
The Strategic Plan serves as a guidepost for providing quality services to the community. The Strategic Plan Public Dashboard displays projects and progress timelines.
The 2025-2026 Strategic Plan was approved by the Board of Trustees and adopted in January 2025.
The 2022-2023 Strategic Plan was approved by the Board of Trustees and adopted in October 2022.
The 2021 Strategic Plan was approved by the Board of Trustees and adopted in 2021.
