Business Recovery Plan Application

    The Board of Trustees has authorized a 60-day business recovery plan to support brick-and-mortar businesses in the Town of Frederick that have been affected by the COVID-19 restrictions dated November 20, 2020. All applicants will be reviewed by the Town Program and application does not guarantee award or award amount.

    All Frederick businesses in existence from January 2, 2020 that employ thirty-five (35) or fewer employees subject to the following:

  3. Eligible Expenses

    All expenses incurred by grantees must have been or will be incurred between January 2, 2021 through February 28, 2021. Additionally, all expenses must be deemed reasonably NECESSARY to relieve impacts from government restrictions imposed on November 20, 2020 related to the COVID-19 pandemic and ensure business viability.

  5. Required Documents

    The Town of Frederick will request additional documentation from qualifying applicants at a later date. The Town may request documents such as banking documents, lease/mortgage documents, payroll reports, accounting software reports, payroll tax filings, utility statements, proof of payment for expenses, Secretary of State documentation, conflict of interest disclosures, signed award letter certifying business is meeting terms of the program.
