The message boards are in place for the full intersection closure. Now is the time to look at the detour map to plan your alternate routes!
Closing the entire intersection to complete the project is essential to mitigate weather and construction constraints. We have heard how important it is to the community to add turn lanes. Thank you for making your voices heard and taking on this challenge!
🔹 The closure is expected to last through mid-November (3 weeks).
🔹 The Town and Frederick High School have worked together as community partners for the closure. Please be aware of school drop-off & pick-up traffic patterns that will adjust for the closure.
🔹 Pedestrian access will be maintained. Students walking to and from school should look for signs and detour pathways.
🔹 No unofficial dirt roads or back roads will be open or can be used during the closure.
🔹 Local business access will be maintained on the NW quadrant (En Face, Santiagos, Car Wash, Carbon Valley Eye Care, etc.).
