It is National Police Week 2022, May 15 - 22! An officer's badge is a public display of a personal commitment to protect their fellow neighbors. National Police Week is a time to celebrate this commitment. From crime-fighting to Town events, the men and women of Frederick's Police Department have always shown up for their community. Together, every officer works to create a safer and stronger town for the residents of Frederick. This week we pay special honor to those who have given their lives in the line of duty.
Chief of Police Todd Norris proclaims, "I pledge to the community that their police department will continue to be good stewards of the public trust, dedicated to reducing crime, promoting community engagement, and providing the best possible service to our residents. I appreciate your continued support and look forward to an even stronger partnership between the department and the residents we serve. The men and women of the Frederick Police Department are committed to providing excellent service. "
