Important Information About Your Utility Bill

Utilty Payment Change graphic

The March 2022 utility bills have been mailed and will be arriving in your mailbox between now and early next week. ALL FREDERICK UTILITY CUSTOMERS WILL RECEIVE THIS PAPER BILL (even if you were paperless before). The new billing is now in effect for:

🔹 Frederick residents East of I25 - This is your Water, Trash, and Stormwater bill.

🔹 Frederick residents West of I25 - This is your Trash and Stormwater bill.

🔹 Evanston residents - This is your Water and Stormwater bill.

You have a NEW ACCOUNT NUMBER! The new account number is on your bill. You need this number to set up your online portal account. Your new online portal allows you to sign up for paperless e-bills, auto-pay, one-time credit/debit card payments, view electronic copies of your bill, and see your water usage history. The new system, Municipal Online Payments only accepts credit and debit cards.

PLEASE NOTE: Xpress Bill Pay is no longer a payment option.

You may set up a new account!

🔷 Instructions on how to set up your new account through Municipal Online Payment.

🔷 What if I don't want to use my credit or debit card?

✔️Payments made by cash and check are still options.

You can pay by mail (Town of Frederick POB 435, Frederick, CO 80530).

✔️You can also drop off your payment in the dropbox available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

✔️You can also use the drive-thru or pay in-person at the Administrative Services Building, 311 Fifth Street, Frederick, CO 80530.

🔷 Can I still pay my bill through my bank?

✔️Yes! If you pay your bills through your personal bank's online bill pay platform, please update your new utility account number (found on your statement) on your banking website. Contact your bank directly if you have questions.

🔷 Billing statements continue to have the 3/15/22 due date. However, any payment made by 3/31/22 will not have late fees due to the billing delay.

🔷 If you have questions, PLEASE EMAIL our Utility Billing Clerk. We have staff on hand to respond to this email. Voicemails are backing up and honestly taking longer to manage.

Thank you for your patience as we all go through this process. Team FRED is passionately working to help residents move forward.
