Let the Town of Frederick help you clean out before winter! The Frederick Fall Clean Up Day will be hosted Saturday October 5th 8 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Public Works Facility at 5949 Tipple Pkwy. Items such as tree limbs, brush and carpet cannot be accepted unless cut and tied into bundles no larger than four feet in length and weighing no more than 40 pounds. Furniture will be accepted. Hazardous materials, batteries, tires, paint and other liquids, cars, items that are flammable (gas cans, gas grills, etc.) or contain Freon or cement will NOT be accepted. The Town will also be providing a vendor who will accept most electronics free of charge. Clean Up Day is a free service provided to residents only, so remember to bring your utility bill showing you're a Frederick resident in order to participate. Members of the Board will be serving hot dogs and hamburgers at 11 a.m. We hope to see you all at this great community event!
