Statewide Stay-at-Home Order

On March 25, 2020, Gov. Jared Polis announced an executive order requiring Coloradans to stay at home as much as possible due to the presence of COVID-19. This order goes into effect at 6:00 a.m. March 26, 2020, and lasts until April 11, 2020, unless modified by further executive order. Exceptions to the order include obtaining food and other household necessities, going to and from a critical workplace, seeking medical care, caring for dependents or pets, caring for a vulnerable person in another location, or engaging in outdoor activities while practicing physical distancing.

Safety and the well-being of our community remain our top priority. While park spaces and trails remain open in Frederick, residents are encouraged to practice social and physical distancing.
