Frederick’s new Downtown Sounds concert series continues this Thursday August 22nd with acoustic duo The Last Flight Out performing 6-8 p.m. in the new Crist Park gazebo.
The Downtown Sounds concert series will take place in the new Crist Park gazebo from 6-8 p.m. every second and fourth Thursday June through September as part of the town’s downtown revitalization efforts.
“By providing weekly opportunities for community members to come out and enjoy downtown, we hope to raise awareness about downtown as a dining and entertainment destination,” said Town of Frederick Events Coordinator Brooke Cunningham.
All concerts are free, open to the public and family friendly. Concert goers are encouraged to bring picnic blankets and camp chairs to make their listening experience more enjoyable. The concerts begin during The Frederick Market which runs every Thursday 3-7 p.m., so visitors can enjoy some market snacks during the concert. A complete schedule is included below.
