The Godding Hollow Parkway (CR 18) Improvement project is about to begin and the first traffic control phase will require closing the road from Miller Drive to Eagle Blvd beginning Wednesday May 27th for approximately 60 days. During this time, they will be upgrading the drainage in that area to a larger box culvert to bring it up to 100-year flood conveyance capacity so that it will fare better if there's another storm like the 2013 Flood. We've waited on beginning this project until school ended so as not to negatively impact the higher traffic flows and every effort will be made to have the road open by the time school starts. This is the first phase of the larger improvement project, which you can read more about below.
