The park is visited by hundreds of different bird species annually including American White Pelican and the Great Egret .

Painted Turtles are also found here as well as many other amphibians, reptiles, mammals, insects and hundreds of different plant species.

Bulrush Wetland Park is located just over two miles west of I-25 on CO-52. Bulrush Wetland Park is open by appointment only from sunrise to sunset.
